In 2016 Wincro designed, manufactured and supplied Stainless Steel Building Products which assisted construction of a 6-storey, mixed-use building. The idea was to incorporate a new, modern community facility at ground floor, with 23 residential units above.

As the existing community centre was demolished to create space for the new build, timescales were a huge factor as the community couldn’t go without the much-used facility for a lengthy period. To overcome this, we worked with Cook Associates and designed Wincro LBS systems, Masonry support and LBS Soffit boards to assist the Main Contractor (Mullaley) in a speedy build.

Wincro Masonry Support holds the LBS Lightweight Brick Slip faced prefabricated stainless steel units in place, allowing them to seamlessly meet up with the LBS Soffit Boards. This creates a flawless look, as if the bricks flowed up and under the building, and allows a quick and easy installation method compared to traditional brickwork methods.
