Wincro Masonry Reinforcement has a number of applications such as providing additional strength to masonry cladding panels, strengthening both inner and outer leaves of cavity walls and offering an alternative cavity restraint fixing.
The Masonry Reinforcement system permits larger cladding panel spans to be incorporated and also gives the option of using narrower inner blocks than those used with un-reinforced panels.
Wincro has developed a range of welded Masonry Reinforcement to overcome structural problems as well as crack control.
PD 6697 recommends that stainless steel material should be used in external walls, including the inner leaf of the cavity. Wincro can supply a suitable alternative to any specified reinforcement.
