We supply a wide variety of stainless steel Channel Sections and fixings for use with our range of Masonry Support, Windposts, Ties and Restraints.
Channel Sections are available for casting into concrete or for surface fixing to the face of a structure. They are supported by a wide range of bolts and restraint anchors to suit all construction applications.
Wincro Channels provide positive anchorages for fixing components and allow generous tolerances for setting-out. The use of channels often eliminates the need for the costly and time-consuming procedure of site drilling either concrete or steelwork.
The Wincro Channel range includes: Light duty self-anchoring channels for restraining masonry through to heavy duty channels complete with welded wavy tail anchors.
All Cast-In Channels do not produce expansive forces and enable closer edge fixing compared with expansion anchors.
Channels from our Cast-In range are supplied with nail holes for securing to shuttering and are filled to prevent the ingress of concrete during casting.
Channel applications include:
- Cast-In Channels with ‘T’ head bolts provide fixing locations for Wincro Masonry Support systems and Windposts.
- Retention of the standard range of either brickwork and cladding ties or special purpose-made components (see Wall Ties and Restraints).
- Use as a framing medium to retain flat or curved cladding, or for carrying services supports.
